Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 14, 2024
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Eldenhall Research, operated by Eldenhall Research Group ("Company", "we", "us"). By accessing our services, submitting data for review, or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services Description
Eldenhall Research provides academic stewardship, editing, structural formatting, and manuscript composition support ("Services").
Disclaimer: While we aim to maximize the chances of publication in Q1-Q4 journals, we cannot and do not guarantee acceptance. Publication decisions rest solely with the journal's editorial board and peer reviewers.
3. Refund & Cancellation Policy
Compliance with Financial Regulations
Before Service Initiation: You may cancel your order for a full refund (minus a 5% transaction processing fee) at any time before a Faculty Specialist has been assigned or work has commenced.
Active Projects: Once the manuscript audit or drafting process has begun, services are non-refundable due to the labor-intensive nature of our work.
Quality Disputes: If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the work, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. We offer unlimited revisions within the original scope of instructions to address your concerns. Refunds based on quality disputes are handled on a case-by-case basis by the Administrative Board.
4. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept major credit cards and international bank transfers.
- Quotes provided are valid for 14 days.
- For "Comprehensive Composition" services, a 50% deposit is required to commence work, with the balance due upon draft delivery.
- All fees are billed in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise agreed.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Client retains 100% copyright and intellectual property rights to their research data and the final manuscript. Eldenhall Research claims no authorship credit. We act strictly as a service provider (Work for Hire).
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and defined following the laws of the State of Missouri, United States. Eldenhall Research Group and the Client irrevocably consent that the courts of Missouri shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute which may arise in connection with these terms.
